All 95 languages sufler understands

sufler recognises speech in 95 languages and can show subtitles in any of them. Colleagues can speak Slovenian, Albanian, Croatian, German or any language below, and you read along in English or your own language. It detects the language automatically, even when people switch in the middle of a call.

Speech recognition uses OpenAI's Whisper model and translation uses Google's MADLAD-400 (plus Apple's built-in translation for about 20 major languages), all running on your Mac. Accuracy is best for widely spoken languages. For close languages such as Serbian, Croatian and Bosnian, choose the spoken language in Settings to avoid mix-ups.
